Skeet Ulrich had a very specific vision for his directorial debut. The score composed by The Angel needed to enhance the protagonist’s feeling of isolation and abandonment in this evocative dramatic short film, written by Amelia Jackson-Gray and starring Naiia Ulrich, Lennie James and Todd Lowe.

On the festival circuit “The Girl On The Roof” has won awards for Best Supporting Actress (Amelia Jackson-Gray) and runner up for Best Young Performer (Naiia Ulrich) at Action On Film International Film Festival  and Best Short Film at its East Coast Premiere at ITVFest .
